The food may be just be starting to cool from Endicott Restaurant Week which wrapped up last night in the village, but today Binghamton received some very good news with figures in from the 11th and most recent Binghamton Restaurant Week that ended April 2nd.

According to today's released figures there were 21,164 meals sold with $10,582 donated to Habitat for Humanity and the Boys and Girls Club.

A great success indeed as officials estimate that over the 11 years of serving up Binghamton's best food, more than 159,000 meals have been served with more than $2.5 million in sales revenue.

The next Binghamton Restaurant Week is scheduled for September 15 thru the 24th.  No word yet as to what local charity will benefit from the popular food fest.  I know a lot of people that are already looking forward to this, me included!
