Forbes pointed out that Binghamton has an acceptance rate just over 37% and is recognized for its strong research programs, including important work in clean energy and battery technology. The magazine also praised BU graduates’ strong earning potential and relatively low average debt. Students leave with about $7,653 in debt on average, while the median 20-year salary for alumni is an impressive $141,200.
