The Southern Tier is known for spiedies and on Friday, January 15th, it'll be Spiedie Night at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena. The team will be wearing special spiedie jerseys that will be auctioned off online to benefit Fairview Recovery Services, 5 Merrick Street in Binghamton, and Maxwell House in Oneida.

Maxwell House, 239 Broad Street is an 18-bed community residence for men 18 or over in early recovery. Also on Friday night, there'll be a buy one, get one free spiedie sandwiches. Face-off is at 7 p.m. and I'll be doing Chuck-a-Puck between the 2nd and 3rd periods.
