It looks like I'll be hosting Chuck-a-Puck with the Binghamton Black Bears at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena for years to come and I couldn't be happier. Did you hear? The Black Bears are staying in Binghamton for the long haul.

Binghamton Black Bears Extend Lease With Visions Veterans Memorial Arena

On Thursday, July 27th, the Binghamton Black Bears announced that they've extended their lease agreement with the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena through the 2026-2027 season. So, if you're a fan of fast-paced, hard-hitting hockey (like me), you've got several more years to catch a Black Bears game right here in Binghamton.

The move comes after a really successful year for the Black Bears. During the 2022-2023 season, the team set a league attendance record as 107,000 fans came to cheer them on. It's easy to see why there is lots of love for the Black Bears with their high-energy, hard-hitting style.

The team has done so much for our community, both on and off the ice. They've not only given us top-notch hockey action, but they have participated in charitable  and community events.

With their lease extension secured, the Black Bears can now focus on their future goals, including attracting even more fans, developing local talent, and achieving their NUMBER 1 GOAL...win a championship title.

October will be here before you know it and you can see the entire 2023-24 Binghamton Black Bears schedule here. I look forward to seeing you between the 2nd and 3rd period as you CHUCK YOUR PUCKS!!!!
