September is here and we are only about a month away from opening night for the Binghamton Black Bears when Elmira comes to the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena on October 14th. Some things have changed since you've seen them in action last season.

In July, the Black Bears announced that they extended their lease agreement with the arena through the 2026-2027 season. There also has been a new black bear sighting at the arena.

Binghamton Black Bears Fan Fest

You'll have your first chance to see the new look Binghamton Black Bears at Fan Fest in conjunction with the Bands and Brews Block Party at the arena. Here is your chance to meet the players and get a first look at the brand-new jerseys and mascot.

The event is free and goes from 5 to 9 p.m. and you can enjoy live music headlined by My So-Called Band and opener Travis Rocco.

The Binghamton Black Bears focus is putting a quality product on the ice, attracting more fans, breaking last year's attendance record (over 107,000) team set a league attendance record (107,000) and most of all, winning a championship title. 

Your first glance happens tonight at the Binghamton Black Bears Fan Fest at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena. The season will be here before you know it and I look forward to seeing you between the 2nd and 3rd as you CHUCK YOUR PUCKS!!!
