According to Binghamton University Assistant Director of Athletics, Communications John Hartrick the Bearcats men's basketball team has added three new coaches.  Levell Sanders, a former Seton Hall star and former UMBC assistant Brian Johnson have joined the coaching staff.  In addition Chenango Valley and Notre Dame grad Patrick Norris has been named Coordinator of Player Development.  He was a program assistant last season while working on his Master's Degree in Public Administration.

Sanders has coached in the Czech Republic and played professionally in Europe for 15 seasons.  He was a second team All-Big East selection in 1998 with Seton Hall.

According to Hartrick's release Johnson was a one thousand point scorer at the University of Delaware where he graduated with a sociology degree in 2010.

Three staff members departed creating the open positions that were filled. Assistant coach and former Bearcat captain Chretien Lukusa left to join new Morgan State Head Coach Kevin Broadus in Baltimore.  Lukusa played for Broadus when the Bearcats won the America East championship.  Herb Courtney departs to move to California where his wife landed a new job.  Also exiting is Pete Corasiniti the former Coordinator of Player Development.
