WWE Hosts Anti-Bullying Rally in Wilkes Barre
I have to hand it to the WWE. Their superstars work hard to promote charities close to their hearts. One that caught my eye took place earlier today at a school down the road, in the Wilkes Barre area.
WWE Tag Team Champions, The Usos and WWE Superstar The Miz hosted a "Be a STAR" anti-bullying rally for 500 students at Hanover Area Memorial Elementary School, this morning to a great reception.
Be a STAR (Show Tolerance And Respect) was founded by The Creative Coalition and WWE in April 2011.
The mission of Be a STAR is to ensure a positive and equitable social environment for everyone regardless of age, race, religion or sexual orientation through grassroots efforts beginning with education and awareness.
Be a STAR promotes positive methods of social interaction and encourages people to treat others as equals and with respect because everyone is a star in their own right. For more information, visit www.wwecommunity.com/beastar
Hanover Area Memorial Elementary School is located outside of Wilkes Barre, PA at 80 West St. Mary's Road, in Hanover Township, Pennsylvania.
