Why I81 In Watertown NY Is Shut Down

You've been hearing that Portions of I81 have been shut down for travel because of a winter storm. Although you may not know just HOW MUCH SNOW our neighboring counties are getting. One of my friends sent me pictures her husband who works for the road crew took this morning of their normal plow route. They are awe inspiring!

The amount of snow they've moved to make travel safe looks to be almost halfway up the the side of the plows cabin! THIS FOLKS, is why I81 North of Binghamton (Watertown depicted here) was closed. Aren't you glad you didn't try sailing through here with your car?
