Ways To Remember Those Who Served

Monday is Memorial Day and these are some things we can do to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

Fly your U.S. Flag at half-staff until noon on Monday.  Fly the ‘POW/MIA Flag’ (Section 1082 of the 1998 Defense Authorization Act). Take the time on Monday, by visiting cemeteries and placing flags or flowers on the graves of our fallen heroes or by visiting memorials.

Participate in a “National Moment of Remembrance” at 3pm pause and think upon the true meaning of the day, and for Taps to be played.  There are many parades being held on Memorial Day, you can go here to find the one closet to you.

See what else you can do to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice here.
