Walmart Titles Plus Size Costumes as Fat Girl Costumes Online

SO... Walmart took some flack from patrons yesterday for being less than tasteful about their Womens Plus-Size Costumes, calling them "FAT GIRL COSTUMES" at Wal*Mart.com! The website Jezebel.com noticed the horrible title and reported it to Walmart.

That's pretty brutal, so first off, YOU STINK WAL*MART!! Second off... even though it was horrible, it took Wal*Mart at least three hours to fix it.

A spokesman from Walmart says, quote, "We first heard about it this morning, our teams immediately engaged to remove it. It is unacceptable and we apologize."
Jezebel's theory is that it might've been a joke by Walmart's web developers while they were building the Halloween section of the site and no one remembered to change it before it went live.

One week ago, a woman tweeted at Walmart that their site said "fat girl costumes" . . . and she got a generic auto-response that said, quote, "Your comments and suggestions are important to us and help make Walmart even better."

ALSO... They should've known a week ago, here's a tweet from a shopper:
"Your site says "fat girl costumes" for plus sizes. Not Nice." and she got a generic auto-response that said, "Your comments and suggestions are important to us and help make Walmart even better."
