Early Tuesday morning, the United States began "intense" operations in Syria against what many are calling the worst terror group we've ever seen- ISIS. We've sent bombers, fighters, and Tomahawk missiles into ISIS-dominated territory in the northern part of the country.

The United States isn't the only one taking action against ISIS. Several other Arab nations are also bombing targets inside Syria, this according to U.S. military officials quoted by CNN, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Jordan.

Sources haven't named specific targets, but the strikes are reported to have taken place in the city of Raqqa, in northern Syria.

The United States previously resisted military strikes inside Syria during the ongoing civil war there, but recent attacks by ISIS, including the beheadings of two American journalists, has obviously prompted a more direct action. In a recent speech, President Obama declared: "I have made it clear that we will hunt down terrorists who threaten our country, wherever they are. That means I will not hesitate to take action against ISIS in Syria, as well as Iraq."
