Trucker Tracks Down Owners of Christmas Gift Left on Highway

A five-year-old girl in North Carolina won’t be left out when her grandparents pass out presents this holiday season, thanks to a kind trucker in Indiana.

George Haskett found what looked like a Christmas present in the median of a busy Indiana highway, so he parked his truck, walked to the medium strip, and picked up the wrapped gift, which had a label that reads, “To Lexi, From Grandpa and Grandma.”

The trucker wanted to get the package back to the girl – so he and his wife posted the information on Facebook. The story went viral and was shared with more than 2,000 people until it finally found Lexi’s family and the mystery was solved.

Now little Lexi will have something very special under her tree, thanks to the efforts of a trucker and his wife, who made sure it spread on social media.
