So I had a nice pain in the neck problem this weekend. I towed my trailer to The silo Restaurant in Greene NY to set up for a wedding the next day. I pulled up, unloaded and set up. then dropped off the trailer full of audio equipment in a far away parking space in the lot. After the wedding the trailer would not jack back up! The crank lift broke! It had always seemed hard to turn but now it just began spinning freely and not working. I pulled the jack out of my truck and began manually lifting the trailer in the air. After about a half hour I had the trailer on the truck. That's where it remained all weekend! If any of you drove past the radio station this weekend while I was at a roadshow you probably would have seen it parked on the road. I had a full weekend with the wedding, SV's school dance and then the wedding show. I ended up getting to the store for a replacement 30 minutes before close to get it fixed. They replaced it for free(awesome!) due to it being just a month old and I was on my way. Needless to say the trailer jacks up way easier than with the old one. I guess it was defective... But I towed that trailer everywhere all weekend!! Gas is cheap right?
