Top Selling Country Concert Tours of 2013

Pollstar released its list of top 20 highest grossing world tours for 2013 and surprisingly, only 2 country stars were in the top 20.

Taylor Swift lands at number 8, grossing $131 million from her 2013 live shows, selling 1,481,900 tickets from 73 sold out shows in 52 cities.

Kenny Chesney came in at number 15, grossing $90.9 million in 2013.  Kenny sold 1,186,925 tickets last year, playing 44 sold out shows in 41 cities.

Bon Jovi topped the list with $259.5 million, followed by Beyonce (sorry Miley), followed by Pink, Justin Bieber and Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.

It will be interesting to see where Garth Brooks will rank on the year end 2014 list, as he has announced a return to the concert stage and a worldwide tour this year.
