Three-Year-Old Donates Hair to Cancer Patients

A three-year-old girl asked what she could do to help kids fighting cancer and then  followed through by getting her hair cut and donating it!

Ariana Smith’s dad, Josh does a lot of charity work and discovered that Ariana was curious about images she saw of a little girl battling cancer and how that little girl had no hair.

Josh and his wife, Crystal, explained to Ariana that the medicine used to fight cancer is what made the little girl lose her hair. hat happened next floored her parents.

“Without a second thought, Ariana said, ‘Oh, well she can have some of my hair.’” Josh says “That’s when my wife clued me in that they have these organizations where we could donate it.” The Smith family chose Locks of Love to send Ariana’s generous gift to a child with medical hair loss.

A week later, Ariana was taken to the family hairdresser where 10 inches was cut from her hair.

What's even more amazing and touching is that it was Ariana's very first haircut.
