‘The Muppets 2′ to Include ‘Modern Family’ Star Ty Burrell

How can you not love the Muppets.  After a long big screen absence, last year's 'The Muppets,' proved to be one of the most successful films of the year.

People love Kermit, Miss Piggy and Fozzie Bear as much as ever.  They also love ABC's hit comedy, Modern Family.  So why not marry the two, so to speak.

It was announced over the weekend, that the Emmy award winning Ty Burrell will join the cast of 'The Muppets 2,' as the Interpol inspector.  The sequel will follow the lovable Muppets on a "more international adventure," as they head off to explore Europe.

Expect lots of surprise cameos and more Ty Burrell than Jason Segel who starred in the first film.  The important role of the “Russian femme fatale," has yet to be cast.  Firming is expected to begin early next year with a release date to be announced.
