Well, BCC is back in session and BU is not far behind.  Every year Beloit College in Beloit, Wisconsin releases its list of how the incoming class view the world.  They do this mostly to help out the professors.  I find it fascinating because when we have interns to the station, who are much younger and I'll talk about something and they have no idea what I'm talking about. For example, when Richard Dawson died, I asked the intern if she knew who he was, she did not, but she did know Dawson's Creek.

This list pertains to the kids born in 1994.  Here's some of the list:  Kurt Cobain, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis have always been dead.  The Twilight Zone involves vampires, not Rod Serling. They don't know what a Point-and-shoot camera is.  They watch television everywhere but on TV. They live in an era of instant stardom, famous for being famous. History has it's own channel. That's just a partial list, but my gray beard just got grayer. Now I need to go play some pinball (They don't know what an arcade is either).
