The Holiday Train is coming to the Southern Tier tonight. The Holiday Train has 14 beautifully decorated rail cars including a modified box car that has been turned into a traveling stage.

The Holiday Train is coming to Binghamton tonight to the East Binghamton Yard on Conklin Ave at 8:30.  You're encouraged to bring non-perishable items and cash donations.  All items collected go to the local food banks. This year all corporate and community cash donations will be matched up to 250,000 dollars to Feeding America, whose food banks continue to provide food and other supplies to those affected by Hurricane Sandy.

If you can't make it out tonight to the East Binghamton Yard near Eureka , the Holiday Train will be going to Oneonta at the James Georgeson Ave railroad crossing outside of Neahwa Park tomorrow afternoon at 1:15.  However if you want to see the hundreds of thousands of brightly lit Christmas lights, you should go tonight.  The entertainment this year is The Claytones and Canadian Country Music Hall of Famer Tracey Brown.  For more info, photos, route map and downloadable pictures go to www.cpr.ca.
