Kimberly, Neil and Reid of the Band Perry were in the Big Apple this past Tuesday for a very good cause.    The T.J. Martell Foundation for Leukemia, Cancer and AIDS Research raised $1.6 million at the T.J. Martell Foundation 39th Honors Gala held in New York at the legendary Cipriani on 42nd Street.  The Band Perry performed live in front of hundreds attending the benefit.

The annual fundraiser is one of the most highly anticipated events of the season and honored John Paul DeJoria, Co-founder of Paul Mitchell Hair Products and Patron Spirits Company, Afo Verde, Chairman & CEO Sony Latin, Will Botwin, President & CEO, Red Light Management, Marsha Vlasic, President, Artist Group International and Hard Rock International.

You may have seen the Band Perry perform the Glenn Campbell classic Gentle on My Mind on the Grammy Awards this year.  Well, thanks to their fans, the trio has recorded the tune and the cut may appear on their forthcoming new album.  Give it a listen here and as always, let us know what you think.
