Superhero 5K is Sunday in Downtown Binghamton
A rainy Saturday in the Southern Tier but Sunday looking pretty good and slightly warmer. If you're looking for something fun to do with the kids on Sunday, try to Superhero 5K in Downtown Binghamton at the Pacemaker's Stage (behind Boscov's) beginning at 10am.
The theme of this special 5K is "every child needs a hero, but abused children need a superheros." With that in mind, each participant is strongly encouraged to dress up as their favorite superhero to support the abused and neglected children of Broome and Tioga counties that need superheros in their lives.
You can still register for the Superhero 5K Sunday morning at 9am. And like I say, the weather is looking good.
