There are a lot of exciting things happening with the Binghamton Rumble Ponies. They have a new name, new mascot and new look. They are giving you a chance to win a classic 1965 Ford Mustang convertible but this may be the most important thing that they do this season

The Binghamton Rumble Ponies are proud to announce “Strike Out Hunger”, it's a season-long partnership with Tioga State Bank and it will benefit the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse (CHOW).

This is how it works, Tioga State Bank will donate $20 to CHOW (up to $5,000) each time a Rumble Ponies pitcher strikes out an opposing batter at NYSEG Stadium during the 2017 Eastern League regular season. You gotta love it, the more the opponent strikes out, the more we strike out hunger in our own back yard.

CHOW distributes over 130,000 pounds of food each month through its 30 food pantries located in Broome County Congregations and over 30 soup kitchens and community meal programs.

Now that's a winning combination.
