60 year-old Rod Spittle take a one shot lead into the third round of the Dick's Sporting Goods Open at En Joie Golf Club.  Spittle, a graduate of Ohio State University and former teammate of Joey Sindelar and John Cook, didn't turn pro until he was 49.  He is one shot up on Scott McCarren and John Huston, the 2011 Dick's Sporting Goods Open winner.

Four golfers are two in back of Spittle including Stephen Ames, Jeff Maggert, Ian Woosnam and Paul Goydos.  2012 Dick's Open winner Willie Wood and Corey Pavin are at seven under par, three shots behind Spittle.

Defending champion Bernhard Langer is two under for the tournament and Joey Sindelar, a two-time B C Open champion is one under through two rounds.  The first golfers tee off at 7:50 a.m. with the leaders going to the tee at 12:26  p.m..  WNBF's live coverage begins at 12:05 p.m. on the Barb Mack Show and resumes following Binghamton Mets baseball.
