Proof That Smartphone Addiction Can Be Bad For Your Health

These two women were at a Charlotte Hornets game on Wednesday night. They had front row seats, and the game was going on. Then Hornets guard Lance Stephenson jumped to make a pass, the ball was tipped and, well, this happened:

I have said before and I will say it again, if you don't dig your face out of your phone and pay attention you're gonna get hurt. I've seen people driving while facebooking or texting and rear end people, I have witnessed people walking into signs, or into doors. We are so immersed in our smartphones that we pay no attention to the things going on around us. Like this woman in the Vine above.

She and the daughter have great seats at the Hornets game and they are in no way paying attention to the game. Evidence of such is when she gets bashed in the face with an oncoming basketball. She may have had time to move, you can see a mess of players falling over each other right in front of her. She didn't see it. cause she was checking her daughters ... tweet/facebook/text.
