You've probably heard of Princess, the  camel at a New Jersey zoo who became famous for her ability to correctly pick big game football winners. Sadly, Princes has died.

26-year-old Princess developed arthritis and had to be put down. She was euthanized last Tuesday.

If you're not familiar with the story of Princess and her big game picks, here's how it worked: Princess made her picks with graham crackers. Her handler, John Bergmann, held a cracker in each hand marked with the names of the competing teams. The one she picked would usually be the winner.

Princess's best season came in 2008 when she correctly picked 17 of 22 games and picked the Steelers to win the big game. Last year she correctly picked the Ravens over the 49ers.

Unfortunately, her death comes just before she would have made her pick for this year's big game.
