One Arm Challenge at the DICK’S Sporting Goods Open

The DICK'S Sporting Goods Open Week is here. I love watching the legends of golf get together but there is so much more including the Johnny Hart Memorial Christian Fellowship Breakfast on Thursday, the  Friday night concert with Bon-Jovi and the Walk to Defeat ALS on Sunday.

Let's add to the list the famous One Arm Challenge with six year old Tommy Morrissey. It's a closest to the pin contest using just one arm during the Pro-Am on Wednesday and Thursday August.

Tommy was born without a right arm and developed a right-handed swing using just his left arm. He has never had a golf lesson but places in the top two positions of his local and state tournaments.

He performed his One Arm Challenge at the Honda Classic and beat 48 out of the 60 professionals he went up against. Tommy has been featured in People Magazine, Golf Digest twice, and has appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.
