New York’s Most Popular Toys for This Season

Ebay crunched some numbers and found all of the top selling toys for this 2014 Holiday season, and sadly, New York came up with all video games. I was hoping for more of a productive toy season with items bought that made our kids actually play. Instead this list makes it seem like the children of New York are sedentary for hours on end, just wiggling their thumbs.

Here are New York's 'toys of choice':

ActiVision, Call of Duty

1) Call of Duty - Advanced Warfare

2) Halo: The Master Chief Collection - Xbox One

3) Assassin's Creed - Unity

Now, I loved LEGOs when I was young and the cool thing is that LEGOs are still number 1 in 10 different states! For the girls, Barbie products won the top spot in only 3 states. The Barbie Fashion Doll Clothing Set is number 1 in Arizona, Minnesota, and South Carolina.

Disney's "Frozen" products only won 4 states; Kentucky, Louisiana, North Carolina, and Rhode Island, while the Furby is still chatting up to number 1 in Alabama.

Finally, a huge shout-out to Nebraska, for keeping it the most real of any state! The number 1 toy there is a John Deere tractor.
