New Trend “The Cold Water Challenge” Takes A Life[VIDEO]

A 16 year old boy in Culver County Minnesota lost his life after texting his girlfriend that he was going to jump into the lake. He was a wrestler and a popular boy in school. He had been challenged by his friends to take the challenge or pay $100 to a charity of his choice and something went horribly wrong.

It began as an activity to raise awareness for cancer research and has now gotten out of hand. Not only is this trend a nuisance for first responders, it's proven dangerous and life threatening. His friends and family are pleading to the entire country to end this trend.
