It seems I learn something new about Miranda Lambert all the time. The CMA nominee recently sat down with Yahoo Travel to talk about what it was like going from country superstar to innkeeper, hubby Blake Shelton's feelings about her new business venture and more.

The name of Miranda's B&B is The Ladysmith.  It's only been open for a little over a month in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, not far from where Miranda and Blake live.

An interesting interview, showing a different side of the country superstar.  Here are some of the highlights from the full interview:

On Blake’s feelings:  "He loves it. It does keep me busy when I’m at home. “

On not being recognized by guests/fans: “People don’t realize it’s me. I look way different than when I’m decked out for awards shows! I went there once, and a couple who was staying there was asking me where I was from, what I did. I just said I was the owner. It later dawned on them.”

On how it all started: “I wasn’t planning on doing this in my life.  I’m a fan of preserving old things. I loved the building [a converted 1901 drugstore], which was just sitting there rotting. I wanted to turn it into something grand, to its original state. I bought it; it wasn’t for sale, but everything’s for sale.”

On how the similarities between the B&B and her music:  “Every room has its own character, its message to say. I feel like that’s how my albums are.”
