The Siren Whistle:

If I remember correctly, I used to buy mine at Community Outlet. The store owner, Nancy, had them for sale for 25 cents. Community Outlet was where the Can Man is now on Upper Front Street. They were at every fair and field days and our grade school teachers would confiscate them daily.

I also remember a flip in time where we all were sneaking water guns into high school and spraying our classmates. Everyone always sprayed me! I'm guessing because I wasn't a target they were going to miss, if you get what I'm saying. So to gain revenge...I bought one of these:

I recall spraying a classmate with it in band and promptly had it confiscated, however, it may have disappeared from the teachers desk that night after everyone left to save me from any pending trouble. No evidence, no crime. ;-)
