Jason Aldean Takes Over a Hawk Sunday Night

Some country stars are on their winter break. Not Jason Aldean. This week, he's co-hosting Country Countdown USA, Sunday night 7-10pm on 98.1 The Hawk, and preparing to hit the road.

Of course, Jason was off for most of November and December. He told CCUSA host Lon Helton, he spent some of that time in the woods: "I did a little deer hunting with Buck Commander, Luke & I were filming that hunting show that we do. Then we spent the holidays at the house."

Speaking of Luke Bryan, what's the latest with him? "He just got some hunting property down in Texas, so we hung out down there. He's hard to keep up with." Did you see him after the CMA Awards? "I did, later that night, Justin Timberlake had a party after the awards, so I ran into him over there. Everybody was there. Luke came walking in wearing his clothes from the show and some bright red tennis shoes. I guess he was tired of wearing boots."

In two weeks, Jason begins his We Were Here 2016 Tour. Lon asked about the show: "Definitely changing it up, we have a whole new set, new production for this tour. You never want the same show twice, so we have a whole new everything."

Any special shows this year? Stadiums? "We haven't announced it yet, but we have a couple of those up our sleeve. Patience, Lon! We have some stadiums this year, we're waiting to announce them, but it's comin' down the pipeline, and it's some good ones."
