First it was the salad and then this. Julius Caesar gave us the leap year as part of his Julian calendar. It's that extra day every four years to keep everything in earthly sync.

Today is Leap Day. What does that mean? Since it is an extra day some say that it's a day to take a Leap of Faith and do something that you wouldn't normally do.

It's a day that if you're a salaried worker then you are working for free today. If you're a hourly worker then you'll make an extra hundred bucks today.

What else does it mean???? It means another day added to the presidential campaigns because after all we need to hear more about that.

There's even an official Leap Day cocktail.

It's 2 ounces gin, 1/2 ounce Grand Marnier, 1/2 ounce sweet vermouth, and 1/4 ounce fresh lemon juice. Stir and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. If you try it, let me know if it's a drink worth waiting every four years for.

Finally, we not only have a Leap Day this year but a Leap Second as well. The extra second is on June 30th.

That's so that our equinoxes, solstices, seasons all align with our seasonal allergies and depression. We want to make sure everything is in it's proper alignment.

My question is: Are there any After Leap Day Sales?
