Hop on over to the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park for Eggstravaganza this weekend. This Easter themed event is fun for all and includes an Easter egg hunt, photos with an Easter bunny, crafts and more. I know Tara can't wait.

The kids can pick up their Easter bag at the ticket booth and head into the zoo to locate the Easter eggs. After finding the eggs, bring them to the Education Center and exchange them for candy and prizes.

The animals will be celebrating too. See the animals as they experience new scents, food, and toys in the shape of Easter eggs and other themed items. It goes from 12-3p, with the zoo closing at 4p. It's only $6 for members and $8 for non-members.

The Binghamton Zoo’s Grand Opening is set for April 18th. Congressman Richard Hanna will be at the grand opening for a special ceremony at 10:00am. After that, the zoo will be open 7 days a week from 10am - 4pm, with the gates closing at 5pm.

Go here to see all that's happening, including the Gators on the Green golf tournament with America's 5th oldest zoo, the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park.
