Summer is here and I'm always looking for something to do with the kids in the Southern Tier. This is on our calendar. I hope you'll put it on yours.

It's Ice Cream Safari at the Binghamton Zoo.

Cool off on Saturday, July 11th. Travel around the zoo on a sweet expedition for ice cream and your favorite Binghamton Zoo animals. You can visit 5  ice cream stations and the first 300 kids will receive a special safari hat to wear during the event.

Flavors will include chocolate chip cookie dough, chocolate mint chip, salted caramel, chocolate peanut butter, and French vanilla for the sundae station.

Animal spotlights and music will be played during the event. It kicks off at 5:30 and will end at 8. The last ticket sold at 7:30.

Tickets are available to purchase online here. You can buy tickets at the Binghamton Zoo’s ticket booth any day and will also be sold on the night of the event.

The Binghamton Zoo is located at 60 Morgan Road in Binghamton. The admissions booth is open from 10am-4pm daily and the zoo closes at 5:00pm.

All event proceeds go directly to support the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park. To find out more about the Ice Cream Safari or any other Binghamton Zoo event, go here.
