Home Remedies for Laryngitis

Karen Walker

It’s cold season and that means it’s time for me to have laryngitis. Oh joy.

Being on radio, this is a bad thing. Normally, I would hit up my Doctor for a fix but she’s on vacation. What to do?

Lemon water is my usual number two treatment, but it isn’t working that well. So I turn to you for help. Every family has a tried and true remedy for a sore/lost throat.

My friend Sammi suggested vinegar and honey (sipped slowly). Gross! My Dad suggests Blackberry Brandy. Again, gross.

I know, I know. Any remedy will probably be unpalatable. That’s ok as long as I get my voice back. Heck, I can’t even sing in the shower!

I will try every home concoction you can come up with, so fire aw
