There's a new hockey team coming to Binghamton. No, the Senators aren't leaving town. In fact, you could say that the Senators are coming to town. Stick with me and it'll make complete sense.

The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) has announced that the Wilkes-Barre Miners will relocate to the Binghamton area for the 2016-2017 season. They'll change their name to the Binghamton Jr. Senators.

The Jr. Senators will play at the newly renovated Ice House Sports Complex, formerly the Polar Cap and the Chenango Ice Rink, 614 River Rd, Chenango Bridge. It's 614 River Road, Binghamton if you GPS it.

Chris Laganiere will be the Head Coach for the upcoming season. If the name 'Lananiere' sounds familiar, it could be because he's the son of Pierre Lananier.

Pierre is a Binghamton Hall of Famer and played for the Broome Dusters for three years in the late 70's.

So next season, it'll be LET'S GO SENS and LET'S GO JR. SENS!
