Great New York State Fair Wraps Up on Monday

For some the unofficial end of summer is when the Great New York State Fair in Syracuse comes to an end. So that means you only have two days left. However there is a lot still to do. Check it out.

Today is the "Taste NY" Food Truck Competition. It features 20 food trucks from across the state using foods mostly grown and produced here in New York. It goes from 10-5 around Chevy Court today

Nickelodeon's, "PAW Patrol," will also be back today. It's located at the Family Fun Center near the Youth Building. It will be open from 10a-9p and there is no charge to take part in the tour.

Here are some other activities going on today. The arm wrestling competition is at 10 this morning in the Sports Activity Center. It's open to first-timers as well as professionals. The Rooster Crowing Grand Champion competition is at 11am in the Poultry Building;

They'll end it all tomorrow, Labor Day Monday. The Great New York State Fair will have admission, all midway rides and some food specials for only $1. You can find the specials that they'll have by using the Fair's Food Finder app and searching for the category "(About a) Buck or Less."

Labor Day will include a special parade and Labor Day rally  at 10:30 a.m. at Chevy Court in honor of the working men and women who make New York the Empire State.

Summer is almost over but there are still many things to do in the next 2 days at the Great New York State Fair.
