You may have heard me mention on the radio this morning that in addition to Wayne Highlands, Chenango Valley schools were also on a two hour delay.

I didn’t think anything of it- I just figured that because of the rain and snow we had yesterday the school district was being cautious.  It wasn’t until later this morning that a friend sent me a text to tell me that there was a threat emailed to the school and that's why the delay this morning.

According to WBNG, an email sent to parents of students at 9:48am explained that the school district received an emailed threat, notified law enforcement and all school buildings were placed on immediate lock down so that law enforcement agencies could search each property.

No threat was found and school is back in normal session.  The contents of the email threat weren’t release.
