‘Designing Women’ Star Meshach Taylor Dead at 67

Emmy nominated actor Meshach Taylor, best know for his role as Anthony Bouvier in ‘Designing Women’ lost his life Saturday night, according to CNN.

In addition to playing the assistant to the four main female characters on ‘Designing Women,’ Taylor is also remembered for played the role of Hollywood Montrose in the 1987 movie ‘Mannequin.’

Taylor had been fighting a terminal illness and was under the care of Hospice. He was surrounded by his wife, children, grandchildren and mother when he passed.

Most recently, Taylor appeared in two episodes of Criminal Minds with the last episode running in January of this year.
