Designers Refuse To Make An Oscar Dress For Melissa McCarthy

So you've finally made it. You are a fan favorite and there is a spectacle of people and cameras and a media circus everywhere you go. I guess all those mean people in high school can kiss your butt! No one cares if you are bigger than average now that you are famous!! WRONG.

Melissa McCarthy wanted a dress made for the Oscars and was refused by five or six big named designers because they wouldn't display their work on her body. She won't drop a name of a designer. I kind of wish she would so we could shun their business, but I digress... The designers are all a bunch of a******s. They claim that the sizes and shapes are different for a plus size dresses and wouldn't know where to start. WHATEVER!

Melissa will be featured in a Redbook article where she's speaking of starting a clothing line with the only dress maker she could find that didn't toss her aside because she was over weight. Her name is Daniela Kurrle and she has been making all of McCarthy's dresses for quite some time now. It's good to see someone's business grow who isn't a shallow mean spirited person.
