Bob Joseph/WNBF News[/caption]A family of four is safe but without their home following a fire, October 12th, at the Blue Ridge Mobile Home Park in Conklin.

The blaze was reported at around 4:15 p.m. at the mobile home on Montrose Drive.

Officials say the family was home, but got out safely.

The fire is believed to have started in the living room but the cause is under investigation.

Firefighters from Conklin, West Windsor and Town of Binghamton were among the departments responding to the two-alarm blaze.

The mobile home is considered a total loss.

The Southern Tier Chapter of the American Red Cross is assisting the family.
