Binghamton Bridge Is Demolished [WATCH]

In case you missed the big event this morning, 98.1 The Hawk was on the scene while two bridges on Interstate 81 in Binghamton were demolished. That's right, they're history! 

The New York State Department of Transportation Region 9 did a single controlled blast to remove the northbound and southbound Interstate 81 bridges over the Chenango River that were no longer being used.

NYSDOT shut down several roadways to completely secure and clear the area before igniting a blast that took down not one, but two bridges at once!
