It's the first Blue Moon since March 2010.  If your wife tells you that she'll let you once every Blue Moon then today is your day.  A lot going on tonight including Randy Travis at Tioga Downs in Nichols.  I understand some tickets are still available.  It should be a great night and whenever a full (or in this case a blue) moon is involved it can make it even more interesting.

Kopernik Observatory and Science Center is also going to be open tonight. They're going to be talking about the International Space Station with a special tribute to Neil Armstrong. You'll also have a chance to observe the Full Moon.  The forecast is for clear skies. Doors open at 7:30p and program begins at 8pm.

You can also enjoy the Blue Moon tonight at Nyseg Stadium.  The B-Mets final homestand of the year is happening,  first pitch at 7:05 and Fireworks under the sky when it's over.

However you plan on observing the Blue Moon remember it won't be back til 2015.  Enjoy and have a great Blue Moon night and safe labor day weekend.

However you plan on observing the Blue Moon, be it observing at Kopernik
