Binghamton police say they've made an arrest in connection with a shooting incident on the city's North Side.

Authorities say 36-year-old Dushon Goldwire of Binghamton has been charged with second-degree attempted murder.

Investigators say about six rounds were fired in the area of 25 Pearne Street. Police were called to the area at 11:07 a.m. Thursday.

A resident said a house had been struck by one of the shots.

Police say Goldwire was arrested shortly after the incident. They say there investigation is continuing. Anyone with information may contact detectives at 607.772.7080.
