Things are looking great for the B-Mets. They won their 4th straight game defeating New Britain 3-2. They earned their league-best 20th one-run win. They are a season-best 8 games over .500.

Last but not least, Michael Conforto is the Eastern League Player of the Week.

He's considered a top prospect in the New York Mets' organization. He went 7-16 with a pair of home runs against the Yankees' Double-A affiliate over the weekend.

Michael played in the All-Star Futures Game in Cincinnati. He hit a 2 run homer against the Thunder on July 16 and then another homer on July 18.

Conforto has played 41 games with Binghamton and is hitting .325 with five home runs and 24 RBI.  This is his third Player of the Week honors this season.

Binghamton have moved to within a half-game of the first place Reading Fightin Phils. The B-Mets return to NYSEG Stadium on Monday, July 27th against New Britain.
