The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team crushed the Misericordia Cougars Monday night at the Events Center 73-44.  Alyssa James led the way with 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds as well as made eight blocks to key the win.  Binghamton ends its non-conference schedule  at 5-8 and finishes with a 5-0 home record.

Kim Albrecht also hit for double figures with a 20-point game.  She hit five three-point field goals in seven attempts to account for 15 of her 20 points. Rebecca Carmody also notched double digits finishing with 13 points.  She played against her twin sister Rachel who saw action with the Cougars.  Imani Watkins chipped in with eight points for the Bearcats.

Binghamton travels to Long Island to face the Stony Brook Seawolves  Wednesday at noon to open the America East schedule. That game will be aired on ESPN 1360 AM .  Tim Heiman's pre-game show begins at 11:45 a.m.
