‘America’s Top Model’ Contestant is The Victim of a Triple Homicide

Former "America's Top Model" contestant Mirjana Puhar was one of the three dead in a triple homicide in Charlotte, North Carolina on Tuesday.  She was only 19 years old.

The other victims were her boyfriend Jonathan Alvarado, and a male friend of hers and her boyfriend.  The murders took place at the apartment the three of them were renting.  The bodies were discovered by another friend who came running to their apartment after hearing the gunfire.

Police have arrested a 19 year old male named Emmanuel Jesus Rangel.He has been charged with all three counts of first-degree murder.  Police believe he knew Mirjana and and her roomates. Police also believe the murders were drug related.  Police reports say money was scattered around the apartment.

Mirjana competed on the 21st season of "America's Top Model" last year.  She was eliminated on the 10th episode.
