Well, as many know and others have asked,  Pam has gone back to college as part of a federal program for veterans.  So for the past 2 months, we've been searching all over the country for a replacement.  There were over 60 applicants for the job and very soon, we should be making an announcement on the new co-host.  I know I speak for many when they say, Good Lord it's about time, that boy needs the help (Amen to that.)

People use many ways to get noticed and hired. I was reading an article at Readersdigest.com, talking about creative but ineffective ways to get hired. I share them with you now. An applicant announced he was interested in the job with a singing telegram (hope it wasn't,  Take this job and shove it).  Another applicant put up posters of himself in the company parking lot (hope it was for help wanted and not just a wanted poster).

Another person rented a billboard, facing the human resources manager office, listing his qualifications.  Finally my personal favorite (mostly because I'm a huge fan of Chinese food), an applicant delivered pre-paid Chinese food, which had a fortune cookie with his name and phone number (Fortune say, you have no chance of getting this job).  This may come as a shock but none of these ways worked.

Thanks to readersdigest.com for the laugh and stay tuned in the coming days, we'll be making the big announcement  on my new co-host. HALLELUJAH  HALLELUJAH (that's me singing).
