All of this "who's gonna play Christian Grey" frenzy could be solved in an instant if the producers would just listen to me. I'm telling you, Ian Somerhalder is Christian Grey.

Check out the description of Christian: Christian is tall, slim yet muscular, and broad-shouldered, with dark copper-colored hair and "smoldering" gray eyes. As quoted by Anastasia, "He is not merely good looking - he is the epitome of male beauty, breathtaking." Is there really any doubt that Ian Somerhalder needs to be Christian Grey?

Apparently there is question because Ian's name isn't even on the lips of those who are in charge of making such decisions. Why, is beyond me.

I'm not crazy about any of the guys, but if I had to pick one, I guess I'd go with Theo James.

Oh and it looks like maybe Charlie Hunnam was a little bit difficult and that's what led to him giving up the role of Christian Grey. Sources now say that in addition to being uncomfortable with all the publicity that surrounded his casting, Charlie bailed on the movie because he had issues with the script. Charlie, who’s also a writer, reportedly submitted detailed script notes, which were at first well-received. But then he asked for more script approval and was denied. Rumor has it Charlie also had disagreements with the creative team behind the film, including director Sam Taylor-Johnson.
