We finally got the news that didn't want to hear but had a STRONG feeling it was coming anyway. The Binghamton Devils were hoping to begin their third AHL season in Binghamton on December 4th. When I hadn't heard anything about Chuck-a-Puck, I had a feeling that it was going to be moved into 2021.

We got our answer on Wednesday, October 28th and now we know it won't start until after my favorite holiday, Ground Hog Day. Further details are coming for the 2021 season. I know it's called the 2020-21 season but if we don't start until next year, shouldn't we just forget the 2020 part. I know many that would like to forget it altogether.

So what's going on with the Devils in the meantime? They aren't letting this delay get them down and they are in the holiday spirit with their Halloween decorating contest. Entries were submitted until October 25th and with every entry, they donated a FREE ticket to a healthcare worker for a regular-season game.

They took all the entries and selected the 25 best and now it's up to you to help pick the winner. The grand prize is a FREE Skybox Night at the arena, so go here to see and vote for your favorite Halloween decoration. Don't delay because the voting ends on Friday, October 30th.

We can't wait for the Binghamton Devils to take to the ice at the Visions Federal Credit Union Veterans Memorial Arena next year as we get ready for great hockey and Chuck-a-Puck too.
