Both drivers were taken to Robert Packer Hospital with serious injuries while a passenger in Cassellbury’s truck, 22-year-old Kegan Valenzuela of Wysox, suffered a minor injury.

The road was closed for seven hours.

Authorities say they don’t know what caused Cassellbury to drive off the shoulder of the road, triggering the crash.

The investigation is continuing.
